DIDI, is a true force for cultural change, whose tireless work and creativity are inspired by the bee, her spirit animal. DIDI has founded a series of collectives and events that give visibility to Black, queer, and immigrant perspectives in Portugal, notably the artistic collectives @afro__ntosas and @uniaonegradasartes, the body- and sex-positive party platform @curvycurvs, and the creative unit @bee_lx, with their work spanning Brazil, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Belgium. As a DJ, she brings a generous range of club rhythms and vibes, deeply rooted in Afro-diasporic music, ranging from 90s/00s R&B to Afrobeat, house, baile funk, amapiano, and kuduro.
